Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution

Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution

Equip youth with mediation and problem-solving skills to foster peaceful coexistence. Our programs empower them to address and resolve conflicts constructively within their communities.

Peace is not simply the absence of violence — it is the presence of justice, dialogue, understanding, and shared responsibility. Around the world, young people often find themselves at the center of conflict, either as victims or as actors influenced by social, political, and economic pressures. At Fursa, we believe that youth must instead be placed at the centre of solutions.

Our Peacebuilding & Conflict Resolution area trains young people in conflict analysis, negotiation, non-violent communication, civic engagement, and community dialogue. Through workshops, forums, and interactive learning, youth gain the skills to mediate disagreements, challenge harmful narratives, and foster unity across different identities and ideologies.

We prioritize strengthening social cohesion by encouraging inter-cultural exchanges, storytelling, shared histories, and respect for diversity. Youth are inspired to see themselves not as passive observers, but as peace ambassadors and bridge-builders within their families, schools, neighborhoods, and the global community.

Our aim is to cultivate a generation that chooses dialogue over division, cooperation over hostility, and compassion over discrimination — a generation capable of contributing to a more stable, harmonious, and peaceful world.
