Youth Empowerment

Youth Empowerment

Offer skills training, mentorship, and resources to foster entrepreneurship and leadership among youth. Our goal is to enable them to drive sustainable development in their communities.

Youth Empowerment is at the heart of Fursa Youth Empowerment Group’s mission. We believe that when young people are equipped with the right skills, mentorship, opportunities, and support systems, they become powerful drivers of social and economic transformation within their communities.

Many young people face challenges such as unemployment, limited access to skills training, financial barriers, and lack of mentorship. Fursa seeks to close these gaps by creating pathways for personal growth, professional development, and active youth participation in community development.

Our Youth Empowerment work focuses on building capacity through vocational skills training, entrepreneurship development, mentorship programs, leadership training, talent development, and exposure to economic opportunities. We work closely with institutions, government departments, and partners to ensure youth gain practical skills that improve their livelihoods and reduce vulnerability to social risks.

Through empowerment forums, mentorship networks, innovation challenges, business incubation programs, and partnerships with technical institutes and development organizations, we create spaces where young people can learn, grow, and thrive. We prioritize inclusivity, ensuring that young women, persons with disabilities, rural youth, and vulnerable groups are equally represented and supported.

By empowering youth to develop their talents, start businesses, access education, and become leaders in their communities, Fursa contributes to building a more resilient, confident, and productive generation. Our goal is to provide young people with not just skills, but hope, dignity, and the opportunities they need to shape a better future for themselves and for Kwale County.
